ATTACh is the Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children. ATTACh was originally created to help families and society deal with critical issues that stem from traumatic childhood experiences. We provide support, therapeutic referrals, products, parent and clinical training, and up-to-date information on the treatment of attachment and trauma disorders in children. We are currently looking to add to an Intern to our team. Our staff works closely to support each other in our work and goals. We would love to find someone that fits not only our job needs but also wants to be a part of our community.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is interested in learning about the day-to-day operations of a non-profit as well as fundraising and event planning. Tasks for the internship may include assisting with member outreach, fundraising campaigns, growing ATTACh’s presence locally and nationally, supporting the Executive Director at trainings, and research projects. Interns will have opportunities to attend committee and board meetings, as well as any local training seminars we present.
Our ideal candidate would have experience with Microsoft Office as well as a drive to learn and a passion for helping others. We are looking for a commitment of at least 8 hours a week during business hours, with a preference of 16-20 hours. You will be working with us at our office located in Bloomington, Minnesota.
